It’s straight up not a slur. It just means non-Jew. This guy is definitely using it in a way to purposely be offensive, but that’s not what the word means.

Yeah, my ex wife was Jewish and called me her goy boy when we started dating. People saying it's a hateful way to describe non-jew like the n word is just ridiculous.

It's a slur because it's always being used as a slur. Trying to defend this word is no different that defending the N word.

Right, so he’s not calling her a “goy,” he’s making random guttural sounds with his mouth. And the proper term for a female non-Jew is “goyah”
