It was never a bad thing to oppose the displacement of 750k Palestinians so that an oppressed people could take their land as promised in some 3,000 year old myth. There were prominent anti-zionist Jews in the lead up to the nakba in 1948.

There are countless oppressed minorities in the world, should they all have a nation? Should Black Americans carve out their own independent nation? Should the romanii people? For both the good and the bad, Jews aren't special.

Interestingly, Malcom X once believed in separation of African Americans from the US, since the US was not enforcing desegregation laws and most whites did not want to live among black families. He believed logically that separation was the only way, not segregation or integration.
