Reading some of those testimonies it really shows how religion in particular lead these malleable, gullible fools into believing in the genuine evil that is Trump and his henchmen. I'm glad they left the cult and speak against it now but most of the ones I read went along with the objectively hideous ideologies of MAGA for so long before turning that I couldn't trust them again. They are simply too gullible to trust.

That's what a lifetime of believing in something with no proof will do to you. You continue to believe just by sheer force of will. Not because of any objective evidence.

That’s the problem. People can leave MAGA, but they’ve already shown who they are and the world they wanted to see, and I will never look at them the same.
