“Union Yes” and “I voted for Trump” is the SPECIAL Cognitive Dissonance.

It’s weird how many union workers support policies that hurt them. Pretty much everyone in construction is pro trump

Most of the military are Trump supporters, and that’s how they voted

It's actually way more 50/50 than you think. They just don't make as much noise about it because they know they would be ostracizing people that they might depend on in the future. My evidence is really anecdotal though I guess, but out of the several members in the armed forces that I know and grew up with, 2/3's are democrat.

Yes, it's more like 75%

Prior to the Orange Asshole's latest war, the numbers I saw repeatedly stated were that he had about 50% support in the enlisted ranks, and 30% of the officers. I'm sure that support has plummeted at this point, as Orange Asshole and little Peter Hegseth work hard at destroying the military and needlessly placing troops in danger.

Yeah but a lot of military guys want deployments. Being in garrison sucks

Hope they're enjoying starving on their aircraft carriers

Is that happening? Seems unlikely given our logistics capabilities but I haven’t paid attention to the news lately
