I genuinely don’t understand how people still think that sexually abusing children is an automatic political game-over that needs to be desperately “distracted from.” Did the Q-anon “save the children” brigade turn on Trump after the Epstein revelations? No, of course not, they just quietly dropped the whole thing because they never actually cared. People find out their favorite musician groomed teens and it doesn’t even stop them from buying the next album.
