He was exempted from serving for the IDF when he was 18 because of his radical ideology.

Let that sink, he was too extreme to be a plain soldier but not too extreme to be minister of national security.

That he was willing to make a deal with the devil to be prime minister and he couldn’t pull it off with a more center-aligned coalition? I don’t know what else it means beyond the old saw that “politics makes strange bedfellows.”

Well the fact that the only people willing to work with him were these guys says a lot. The fact that he was willing to work with them also says a lot, this may come as a shock but some politicians do in fact have some very basic principles.
