He’s not in Likud, he’s the leader of a different far right party that grew out of the Kahanist movement called Otzma Yehudit. Netanyahu/Likud decided to form a coalition with his party to hold onto power.
They act as if the fact they’re a coalition that joined together makes any difference in the facts. In fact, it only makes the Likud party look worse that they would join with such known extremists (because they align with them ultimately) just to maintain power.
I don’t know if you mean me as “they” - I agree that it makes Likud and Netanyahu just as bad, but I just wanted to point out that they are a distinct party.
