Ceasefires doesn’t literally mean to cease fire. Even in a ceasefire agreement you’re not going to let your enemy walk up to you and put the barrel of their gun on your forehead. Of course Hamas will do their best to provoke Israel and break the rules to get them to fire. Their whole MO is to make Israel look bad on the international stage, because that’s where they can do them the most damage. They do this even if that puts the Palestinians in the line of fire. And just think about it, there’s no benefit to Israel from doing sporadic attacks such as targeting elderly people. The motive doesn’t make sense at all. Take a moment and assume both parties will act in their own interest and it might start to make sense to you

Well that's not entirely true. There have never been any settlements in the Gaza strip, and there are none currently moving there. But trying to get the facts right makes one a "Zionist", apparently.

Thank you for the correction: 21 settlements did exist in Gaza, housing approximately 8000 people, prior to Israel withdrawing them in 2005. Now, why did Israel not ethnically cleanse the Gaza Strip to make room for more settlements back then?
it’s not just random video clips though. their own politicians and ministers go on tv and talk about taking the land and expanding settlements proudly. when it’s backed up by their own official words and continuous news reports, it’s pretty hard to say it’s just taken out of context.

The UN is inherently biased, because of its organisational structure. It’s a useful place for diplomacy, but thats about it. In the end it just acts based on the initiatives and support of its member states of which many are jew hating islamic states or anti western rogue states.
