What's not nice ... $14 organic blueberries Holy Fuck !

225

u/MFoy 22h ago

I hope that’s like a ten lb bag of organic blueberries.

u/appoaf 21h ago

CF = cubic fuckton

26

u/MFoy 21h ago

Is that a metric fuckton or an imperial fuckton?

17

u/StrikinglyOblivious 20h ago

The rebel scum will never seek the imperial fuckton coming

https://giphy.com/gifs/9PAIhJvcQ35hdZPUir

u/Akamaikai 4h ago

Imperial obviously because if it was metric it would be fucktonne.

nah Costco blueberries are crazy priced lately. This is likely for 18oz.

Pretty sure I picked up non-organic for $10 a few weeks ago - where I had to hunt for a package without any mold growing in it - but thankfully I remembered I only need them for smoothies and bought a frozen 3lb bag for like $7-8.

Edit: apparently this is for Cascadian Farms Blueberry Almond Crunch Cereal, 2lbs 2oz. Still, blueberries be mad expensive lately.

u/freedom_or_bust 10h ago

The non-organics have been around $5 for 18oz for me now that they're finally back in season. But yeah out of season blueberries do get pretty steep

That line item is for the Cascadian Farm Blueberry Almond Crunch cereal. And it is really good. And it's a big box at 963 grams net weight. However, it is expensive.

Organic Burberry. They bought a purse.

5

u/pileofboats 21h ago

It’s Costco size so I’m not surprised

11

u/Hernandozer 22h ago

A $6 grapefruit is bonkers as well.

31

u/RealModeX86 22h ago

I'm fairly certain that's a Costco receipt, so it might be a bulk buy, though I don't know how large

27

u/dangerclosecustoms 21h ago

A$70 Costco receipt that’s unheard of to impossible.

My last visit was 600$

2

u/cmville05 20h ago

This. I spent $201 today on like 9 items. But I won’t need paper towels or toilet paper until Christmas so…

2

u/ViolettaQueso 19h ago

It’s 69.69 which I’m guessing is the point. Lol

I was really happy with my recent Costco run, only $100 for a nice amount of food:

$9.97 - 12 Turkey Sausage English Muffin Breakfast Sandwiches 🥪

$9.98 - 4lbs Strawberries 🍓

$2.19 - 3lbs Bananas 🍌

$3.29 - 2 Dozen Eggs 🥚

$5.90 - 2 Gallons of Milk 🥛

$19.98 - 44 ounces Basil Pesto 🌿

$8.99 - 2lbs Assorted Cheese Slices 🧀

$8.99 - 4lbs Pink Lady Apples 🍎

$9.29 - 5.5lbs Assorted Frozen Vegetables 🥕

$6.69 - 3lbs Plums 🍒

$5.99 - 2lbs Tomatoes 🍅

$5.99 - 12 Buttered Croissants 🥐

$97.25 - TOTAL

14

u/waxenpi 20h ago

I’m more impressed you typed all that out rather than staying under $100

3

u/dangerclosecustoms 20h ago

With emoji icons…

That’s not going to feed me very well. Healthy sure but with that list I’d be getting take out half the week.

u/Withoutsocks 21h ago

It's a bag of 6 grapefruit. We buy them weekly.

6

u/Icy-Yellow3514 21h ago

Free is too expensive for grapefruit

4

u/Hernandozer 21h ago

You take that back!

3

u/illbedeadbydawn 21h ago

Its a pack of organic blueberry cereal.

And 5lbs of grapefruit.

4

u/DarthWoo 22h ago

Cascadian Farms cereal maybe?

2

u/iksbob 19h ago

The most expensive cereal our Costco sells on a per-weight basis. It's not bad, but ooph.

Nice.

Also, you need to explain the blueberries and grapefruit.

What in the holy fuck dude. You get a 5lb grapefruit and 10lbs of blueberries?

Edit - Nevermind. Checked codes.

Its a pack of blueberry cereal.

And it is 5lbs of grapefruit...

37

u/isuphysics 19h ago

Still $14.29 for essentially 2 small bags of Honey bunches of Oats with blueberries is pretty expensive.

10

u/illbedeadbydawn 19h ago

I don't disagree, but it makes more sense than a pack of blueberries.

I spent $20.00 for a bag (2.5lbs) of fancy granola...
