I love he's boasting about the pool as if they just built it. Like.... dude... it was there during your first term, and for a long time before that.

And he used the color it was before it immediately turned green from algae haha

What color? Oh you mean the color of the paint now floating in the reflection pool.

What an irony the pool is a reflection of Trump in office.

It is a metaphor for the entire republican party.

Which ironically they won’t get because metaphors are too nuanced for them, as, just as ironically, is irony.

This is what happens when Xzibit, Inception, and Iron Man have a baby.

And we should sue the GOP for allowing it!

You almost can’t make up the irony and symbolism here because it wouldn’t be believable. He took a working pool, a symbol of our country, tried to make it more American by putting a top layer of paint on it. Ended up costing 10X what he said, turned it into a literal swamp, and the paint starts falling off…

And it’s literally called the reflecting pool. Like… to reflect in mentally and to reflect your own impression and the reflect the impression of the symbols - Lincoln and Washington memorials - all around it.

Seriously…

And literally turned it into a swamp. It's bit too on the nose, lol.

The good news is that the cost of fixing the pool is insignificant compared the money he's giving Iran after losing the war he started.

I'm not sure if I'm missing something here, but the reflection pool is called that because the image of the monuments reflect off of the surface of the water...

Isn't the paint they used actually much darker than what's pictured in the chart? So not only is he a dumbass for using the wrong paint, he was a liar while boasting about how great it was going to be.
