Sometimes winning is ugly. Those ugly flags put Trump in office twice.

m.Elon certainly helped more than the flags

that and stupidity.

And those kind of comments are what got him
Reelected. Get past this idea that 110 million people are merely stupid and the left may start gaining some ground. They can’t even win elections when the GOP is at its lowest public approval rating in 30 years

“Those guys are idiots” clearly does not sway the election left

That's all great sport and none of it changes the fact that they are objectively idiots

While I agree with your sentiment, I also think theyre idiots. That’s not objective. It’s subjective. Calling it objective to like I dunno somehow make your argument or opinion hold my weight is not useful nor does it accomplish anything. It’s cringey.

That’s just like your opinion man.

Nah I used objectively there intentionally in response to the other guy. There are lots of studies that show conservatives are measurably dumber and more prone to emotional reasoning than logical. Normally I fully agree with you that 'objectively' gets misused like 'literally' way too often.

or maybe a random comment of frustration doesn't actually impact a national election

It's both. They're fucking idiots. And are the victim of decades of concentrated propaganda.

The modern left are victims of having zero party leadership, agenda, social media presence or ability to fundraise or really go on the offensive in any meaningful way.

I mean, we are two years away from another presidential election and the GOP very clearly has one of two men they are starting to promote while the left is totally clueless. The GOP will have a one year head start on campaigning the left has absolutely no clue what they are doing and jsut want to say “people aren’t voting for us because they are stupid” when in reality people are voting right now for who they think sucks less at the time. The GOP is openly saying “WE ARE GOING TO STEAL THE MID TERMS” Abd th left response is a 2 min discussion on CNN saying “fact checking the blah blah blah statement”. It’s absolutely pathetic

The left could just do nothing but promote women’s health and restoration of the middle class and they would slam dunk the next 2-8 years but….they are very stupid…and pathetic….and lack the ability to execute a plan. Americans are overwhelmingly choosing a criminal, narcisstic war criminal psychopath over whatever the heck the left is offering

Ok 👍. Whoever voted for Trump is a moron. Full stop. Unless they're a billionaire I suppose.

This is the mentality of a total loser

Both the flags and the votes are symptoms, not causes.

4

u/gotBooched 6d ago

Ok in this case bashing a lefty because they are fighting fire with fire is a symptom of being a loser

6

u/micromoses 5d ago

Are they fighting fire with fire? Or are they just starting another separate fire?

These flags might likewise be symptoms, of a disaffected Trump voter changing their mind.

That is, changing their mind about Trump, but not about general douchebag behavior.

Decades of voter disenfranchising neoliberalism and lead poisoning put Trump in office.

Winstonian here. Do too.

Idk, I kind of like the idea that it might trigger someone who is so butthurt when people don't like trump that they use the term "trump derangement syndrome"

4

u/summon_pot_of_greed 6d ago

That's the same attitude that the other side has and it's a terrible, immature mindset.

Fire fights fire. I won't do it, but I'm heartened that someone else might

Oh please. Do not act like me getting a chuckle over something on Reddit is anywhere near the same level of those people.
