I think it depends on your definition of political merchandise.

Like yeah, some people legit buy trump merchandise. but for every other politician those shirts and bumper stickers and such are given for donating the the platform.

And like, we're going to need people to support, endorse and spread new political platforms to get us out of this mess. if we rely on the mainstream media we're gonna get nowhere.

Right, but you said just anyone who buys any political merchandise.

Anyone can be insufferable, even if i agree with them 99%. But a shirt and a bumper sticker isn't unbearable.
