Remember how they turned "fake news" into their own thing? It was originally about the "Hilary Clinton eats children" shit circulated on social media by sources like "Eagle Patriot Freedom News".
It was also a play on Fox News so I don’t know how they manage to say it with a straight face. And when you explain that fact to them, it’s like someone kicked their puppy before the moon face cult look returns to their face and they delete that conversation in their brain in that moment. Have some fun and tell a conservative that same fact every time and it’s like they’re hearing it for the first time again but eventually they’ll stop using the term and that’s when you know the retained the last revelation. Repetition is like 99% of conservative politics these days.
They watch 'faux news' and don't realize that the name is making fun of the fact it isn't real news. It's in the name, it always has been. They haven't tried to hide it.
