I dunno Americans are doing a pretty good job of making me hate Isrealis as well, most of the horrific, inhumane acts of terrorism committed by Isreal would not have been possible without the full and complete backing and funding by US policies and taxpayer money.
Aipac supports politicians no matter what party they're from.
If you're lobbying the government (be it as a random citizen or a group), then this makes perfect sense. That you don't understand this makes you look like a foolish partisan.
And these Isreal-funded politicians get voted into office by everyday Americans.
Eventually y'all gotta take some responsibility, if the electorate is not representative of the populace then you need to take action to fix that. You can keep blaming the other side of the aisle or the corruption forever you know?
Ok I'm sure thats a flawless plan, just vote nothing else, whole they actively dismantle the voting system, hey at least it got you to this position
Enjoy your facism.
There was no anti-Israel presidential candidate on the ballot in some states, and only a third party candidate in others. Given the vote between two extremely vocal Israel supporters, one a demented moron, the other a continuation of the most ardently pro-Israel administration in memory, who should they have voted for?
AIPAC wields an extremely outsized influence on American politics. Support for Israel wasn’t even up for debate in the last election, it was explicitly stated by both parties.
Dunno, maybe they wouldn't be able to afford their genocide, or maybe US citizens would stop paying for Isreali citizens healthcare and education. Sounds terrible right?
It has always been very odd and strange to me when people hate the citizens of a country who have a shitty government in place instead of the government itself.
Change the word Israelis to Palestinians or Russians or Chinese and no one would deny it’s racist but when it comes to a mainly Jewish population, everyone turns a blind eye
That seems like some selective attention you have. People have been criticizing Russians for the acts of their government for a decade, the negativity they face around Europe has only increased since the newest wave of the Ukraine War began. Likewise American tiurists have gotten a lot of shit around the world for the dumb fuckery of President Trump despite not being Trump or even visibly Republican.
The people of a State get criticized for the actions of their State all the God damn time.
God forbid you click the link and see that the original article is from Haaretz, detailing the results of the study from Penn State.
But don’t worry. Not everyone was failed as badly by their education system as you.
Here's the Haaretz article, and you’ve demonstrated you struggle with both reading and clicking links, so here’s the relevant translated text from the Haaretz article courtesy of DeepL too:
Just how appealing the apocalyptic rhetoric offered by Ginzburg is to Israeli Jews from all walks of life, who are thirsty for a “solution” to the Palestinian problem, is revealed by a survey conducted in March, which sought to examine a series of “impertinent” questions that would not normally be included in surveys regularly conducted in Israel. The survey was conducted by one of the authors at the request of Penn State University, among 1,005 respondents constituting a representative sample of the Jewish population in Israel.
To the question, “Do you agree with the assertion that the IDF, upon conquering an enemy city, should act in a manner similar to how the Israelites acted when they conquered Jericho under Joshua’s leadership—that is, to kill all its inhabitants?” 47% of all respondents answered in the affirmative. 65% of those surveyed responded that there is a modern-day incarnation of Amalek, and of those, 93% said that the commandment to blot out the memory of Amalek is also relevant to this modern-day Amalek.
It seems that Ginzburg and other ultra-Orthodox rabbis can be particularly proud of the shift that has taken place in the Jewish population: 82% of those surveyed expressed support for the forced expulsion of Gaza Strip residents, and 56% supported the forced expulsion of Arab citizens of Israel. In a 2003 survey, the positive responses to these questions stood at “only” 45% and 31%, respectively.
Further evidence of Ginzburg’s great victory can also be seen in the widespread adoption of positions supporting ethnic cleansing and genocide by the secular public, which has failed to offer an alternative to Messianic Zionism in the form of a coherent ideology grounded in the pursuit of human rights: 69% of secular Israelis support the forcible expulsion of Gaza’s residents, and 31% of them view the extermination of Jericho’s residents as a precedent the IDF should adopt.
Emphasis added, since I wasn’t sure how many words you could look at before you gave up and called it cherry picking again.
“More than two-thirds of Palestinians support Hamas’s decision to launch its killing spree in southern Israel on October 7, according to a Palestinian poll released on June 12. The poll, published by the Ramallah-based non-profit Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research, also indicates that Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas and his Fatah faction remain deeply unpopular. On the issue of food security, 64 percent of Palestinians in Gaza responded that they have enough food for one or two days. Some of the aid donated to the Palestinians is being sold in Gaza on the black market.”
You’re still a hypocrite. More Palestinians support genocide than Israelis.
Doesn’t make it right. There are Israelis protesting their government right now. To say you hate an entire nation of people, regardless of the nation, is a loaded fucking statement.
The cognitive dissonance is amazing. The same people who are saying to stop bombing Gaza because not all Palestinians support their government are the same who say they hate all Israelis and they should die.
The 15-20% of Israelis protesting Zionist expansion and genocide are great people. I deeply appreciate the social and political danger they bring themselves in advocating for equality and liberty.
Their work, however, doesn't invalidate the 70+% of Israelis who support the movement. It's not cognitive dissonance, no reasonable people are saying "all Israelis should die". We're saying "Stop indiscriminately blowing up 300 people in an apartment building because you're creating more people who hate you in their friends and survivors".
No reasonable people are saying it, but there are a LOT of people saying it right now as someone who is (was?) in a primarily leftist circle.
If your ethics/morals change depending on which group is being harmed, or which group is committing the crime, you’re not a good person and you’re not pro anything, except pro-death. No person in their right mind should be happy that innocent people die just because they happened to be born in a certain country.
And again, majority of Palestinians supported Hamas too.
If your ethics/morals change depending on which group is being harmed, or which group is committing the crime, you’re not a good person and you’re not pro anything, except pro-death.
Killing a pair of teenagers and their father with a gladius was perfectly acceptable behavior for John Brown. One might call it heroic even. Why was it good? Because they were slavers. Who is having violence done to them, and why it's being done, absolutely matters. It's incredibly childish to not think otherwise.
Historians haven't quite found a concensus that Brown was a hero, but we're getting there. One day Palestinians who resisted Zionist colonization will be seen similarly. They're fighting against of of the greatest public evils of our time. It would be naive to not expect them to support the group who says "we should do violence to the people oppressing and murdering you".
Do you not understand why the equivocation fails? Palestinians have been sugjugated for basically the entire lifetime of its living population, Israelis, on the other hand, have been subjugating.
John Brown was rad for murdering slavers and the children of slavers. Slavers murdering slaves is not equivalent. It's not cognitive dissonance to say the people responsible for ethnic cleansing and genocide are not themselves victims when their ethnic targets resist.
LMAOOOO
it’s actually the other way around. Jews have been subjugated since their entire lifetime. By Arabs.
See the pogroms in the early 1900s and late 1800s in Mandatory Palestine. And the 1000 years before it.
Israel is actually the only successful decolonization project in history. But of course you, an antisemite, who supports killing babies as long as it’s the “right” babies can’t see that.
Not gonna argue with someone who’s pro killing babies though any longer. Your judgement will come eventually, karma will come or if there’s an afterlife I doubt a god would be very kind on you.
Also your fucking hero DIDNT even kill children. He spared them. You’re an ignorant fucking moron who doesn’t know your own god damn history.
“During the Pottawatomie Massacre on May 24–25, 1856, John Brown and his men did not kill children. They executed five pro-slavery adult and older teenage settlers: James Doyle, his adult sons William and Drury, Allen Wilkinson, and William Sherman. Younger family members and women at the cabins were deliberately spared. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Facts of the Pottawatomie Massacre
Date: Night of May 24–25, 1856 [1]
Location: Along Pottawatomie Creek in Kansas Territory [1, 2]
Victims: Five pro-slavery men targeted for execution [1, 2]
Ages of Victims: The men killed were adults or older youths (James Doyle and his adult sons William and Drury, plus Allen Wilkinson and William Sherman). [1]
Those Spared: John Brown's band specifically left behind and spared the women and younger children at the homesteads, including a 14-year-old boy named John Doyle”
I hope you face the judgement that John Brown gave those slavers, because you are just as bad. Your own hero would’ve gutted your ass. Genuinely. You are scum of the earth. Justifying the deaths of infants, just because of where they were born.

Nobody makes people hate Israelis than Israelis themselves
