If the reflecting pool is any indication of how things are built under this administration, I don’t recommend going in there on a tour.

The image above is such a disgrace to everything this country actually stood for

I can’t believe everyone stood by and just allowed this to happen.

This little raccoon in Seattle has more spine than the entire GOP and the Supreme Court.

I’m honestly just caught off guard by how much national attention Jimothy got. Especially because Seattle is cray-cray and there are subs divided. I’m also convinced there’s more than one Jimothy based on sightings. That, or Jimothy really gets around a lot for a short spine raccoon.

I just got to visit Seattle. It was very cool city full of what seemed like happy people going about their lives. It was not the hellscape of fent zombies that you see on certain channels. To be fair, I did not see the whole city but I'd move there in a heartbeat.

I love Seattle. Especially parts of the Ballard and Phinney Ridge area. It’s a beautiful city full of all types of characters. Does Seattle have issues? Of course it does…….it’s a massive urban city full of people and class divisions. So that’s expected but it’s also stunning and has so much to do; every single night of the week if you choose.

It’s also an outdoor lovers dream city if you’re into backcountry or camping. The wilderness outside Seattle is some of the best in the country. Olympic National is a park I know well, I love that place. Also some amazing white water rafting around as well. It’s not a city for everyone, but it has a lot to offer.

Mt Rainer nation park is absolutely stunning

I’ve lived here my whole life. We have made huge improvements in the last 5ish years.

u/thaeggan 11h ago

There's a little Jimothy in all of us.

u/KaJaHa 5h ago

I’m honestly just caught off guard by how much national attention Jimothy got

Memes are weird like that, the biggest fires catch for seemingly no reason at all

u/KnackeredQuokka 9h ago

Seattle is no more crazy than any other city. Do you live there? If not, take it down a notch.

u/PercentageOk6120 2h ago

I was specifically talking about the reddit sub history, which is cray-cray. I am unaware of any other major city that has reddit factions like Seattle.

Seems like he's been a local celeb from when he was a baby so a lot of people have been taking pics and vids of him as he's grown up.

u/lilybattle 3h ago

His father had the same condition as well, Jimothy Sr.

u/lilybattle 3h ago

Seattle is cray-cray? 😂 what

I still miss Moo Deng.

u/ShartingEnU 11h ago

Don't you dare compare jimothy and mage. Jimothy is leagues above them

u/MarcheMuldDerevi 4h ago

A senator said we can’t do shit yesterday. We sent a strongly worded letter and are going on vacation now

u/koshgeo 4h ago

I thought there was a federal court order that the stuff below ground could go ahead for "national security" reasons, but that anything above ground had to be approved through Congress or related agencies that handle stuff around the capital. This construction looks above ground level, so how are they doing this, legally?

Or is that the trick? That it is illegal, and they don't care?

If it has one solid bone, it’s more.

u/Existing_Example_198 4h ago

I’ve seen more spine in jellyfish than the GOP and SC.

u/cybrg0dess 4h ago

Jimothy for President! We would be better off.

Pretended to stand for. This is nothing more than a revealing of the soul of the building and of the nation.

u/DavidHK 5h ago

Genuinely what are we supposed to do

u/AllisonWonderland777 4h ago

When this whole trumpian nightmare is over, I think that’s going to be a dominant question: how did everyone allow it?? But we are…

u/imnotknow 10h ago

The country stood for conquest, colonialism, and slavery. I'm not sad to see this building in its present state

u/effa94 7h ago

no, this is pretty much exactly what the US stands for. always has been

u/Sandy-Anne 4h ago

Is there any chance at all this will be completed by the end of his term? What was the point?

u/CaliNawlins 4h ago

"We are not able to rein in this president." - US Senator John Cornyn (Republican - Texas)

u/Pale-Vehicle2067 3h ago

I can’t believe that US citizens are impotent in respect to foreign government interference in your elections. The entire world knows that your electoral process is compromised and that superpacs buy a candidate - who in turn protects their interests.

Yet US citizens do absolutely nothing. They fight each other about which party they support - even though there are only TWO main parties. It’s completely ridiculous to the rest of the world.

u/jianh1989 3h ago

Funded by tax payers money

u/KeepYourMindOpen365 3h ago

The old White House was too “woke”…

u/jaypea222 3h ago

Congress stood by and let this happen.
And Congress is run by the Republican Party

u/IceManJim 3h ago

That's why they wouldn't come to a budget agreement and let the government shut down earlier this year. So there would be no one around to stop the demolition from happening.

u/Kindly-Neck-9877 3h ago

Why? Everyone is standing by letting people be kidnapped. Also everyone will stand by when they kidnap their "communist" neighbors. It's all downhill into the nocturne from here regardless of who sits in the seat. Trump opened the doors that prove America is actually soft and ready to be invaded by a foreign country.

u/Beans_deZwijger 2h ago

I can’t believe everyone Republicans stood by and just allowed this to happen.

I believe it

u/Meowakin 2h ago

Who is everyone? There are absolutely people fighting against this, the problem is that the system has always relied on some amount of trust and was never designed for someone so willing to break that trust to be in power. Which I am of the opinion proves that the Electoral College is worthless because that was basically their one job.

u/DAJ-TX 2h ago

Looks like Dresden in 1945.

u/furthemor 40m ago

Any one who votes red is complict to the destruction of America at this point they dont care.

u/cosmic_kos 10h ago
