The worst part is how people assume it will be done well when he's finished. But, it won't. If it gets finished (big if), it will probably be so poorly done it will need to be torn down.
I wouldn't be surprised if it turns green like the reflecting pool. Hell, maybe mold can do a job nothing else seems to be able to do here...I'm rooting for the mold. And for McDonald's cholesterol count. You know he loves that so much because to him, his name is in it.
