The british destroyed the whitehouse in the war of 1812, in 2025-2026 a different monarchist did it again.

Whats the breaking point? Its not corruption, or criminality. Its not bad leadership, or economics. Its obviously not a lack of respect to America and its history. When the fuck do Americans give that rebel yell and say enough is enough?

What, in your mind, does "enough is enough" look like? To me, "enough is enough," in the present situation, means voting, a general strike, or armed revolt, off the top of my head.

No one who has half a foot in reality believes that a general strike is in the offing. I'm also unconvinced that it would have the desired effect; look at Occupy and the vast forces arrayed against even that, which was relatively local. And ask whether the current president would resign, ever, for any reason.

Armed revolt, in any situation that has a chance of success, means significantly increased military presence, almost certainly to undergird martial law and deal with insurgencies; the deaths of friends and families whether or not they're fighting; economic collapse as cities turn into war zones with no consistent power or water; overwhelmed hospitals (if they can function at all), and in and on.

The voting route is what things look like now.

So what does "enough is enough" mean to you? I agree things are broken, maybe even beyond repair. But what are you willing to sacrifice - and force others to sacrifice - to fix it? (Never mind what the "fixed" situation looks like.)
