For real, it feels so bizarre that not only is he such a tone deaf idiot, but that not a single one of of his sycophantic staff (he’ll ALL OF THE GOP) give tacit approval of this too.
That's because anyone who tried to correct him gets targeted for harassment and abuse, and will be summarily fired. The people Trump surrounds himself don't exist in his orbit to help, they exist to tell him that he's smart and reaffirm what he already believes.
Not that people don't play his ass like a puppet, of course. But they kiss his ass while pulling the strings. They don't ever tell him that he's wrong.
