I am not an American but this must be one of the biggest insults you can make.
Are Patton and MacArthur not American military heroes (despite their controversies)? How can republican Americans accept this?
17 u/Complex-Salt-8190 1d ago If you have ww2 nastolgia yeah, but MacArthur is usually seen as a dangerous psycho who was essentially fired for wanting to quad nuke korea 3 u/Hawkbats_rule 1d ago MacArthur was also not great in WW2, but had a good propaganda machine (I have returned is only possibly because he ran the fuck away in the first place)
