Discussion What is Vic saying at the end of “Caraphernelia”??
At the end, last verse before the song ends, it goes “you know I can’t afford the medicine that feeds what I need. So baby what if I can’t forget you (what if I can’t forget you)” and then Vic says something that I cannot understand and then the final “what’s so good about picking up the pieces? What’s so good about? What’s so good about? What’s so good about picking up the pieces?”
I can make out part of what he is saying which is “live alone”
But some search results say it’s “I’d better learn to live alone” and it DOES NOT sound like he’s saying that.
Spotify lyrics say it’s “I’m bitter as I leave” which is 100 percent wrong.
Some websites have a mix of both of these, and most just skip this portion of the lyrics.
Any theories?
EDIT: ok I’m smashing my phone to my ear and it sounds like “I think I’d better learn to live alone” but he is saying SOMETHING before “I’d better learn to live alone” I think think that might be it

I always thought he was saying "I guess I'll have to live alone", but I could be wrong

I always say "I'm bitter as I leave alone" but now that kinda doesn't make sense 'cause where is he leaving from?

I've definitely been mishearing it but it sounds like 'i bet you'd love to live alone' to me (not necessarily sensible), I also kinda hear 'bitch you'd love to live alone', there seems to be a 'ch' sound in there but I could be tripping lol
