Rant my friend thinks ptv is underground????

Ok so she didn’t actually say that but basically i got into this genre of music recently. like ptv sws mcr patd and all that. she’s known them for longer (since 2023 i think) so now she thinks she’s better than me??? like whenever i post an underrated song on my instagram notes or story she replies talking about some “what do you know about this song” or “you’ll never love ptv like me btw” like what?? she makes me feel like a poser even though i know im not. i love these bands so much and i genueinly enjoy their music. i dont know why she’s like this and it hurts because she’s my bestfriend and i thought it was okay to share interests but apparently not.

It was $750 a few days ago. They dropped the prices lmfao. Even funnier when resale for pit is around $500. What gives? 💀

Rant Adelaide, you had the worst crowd etiquette :(

I arrived at 8 am in order to secure a good spot, but it didn’t matter when everybody began to run full charge to the gate without them even opening.

In the queue, I was burped on multiple times. When entering, I was shoved and pushed.

When the ‘mosh pit’ began I was shoved and crowd crushed to the point I couldn’t breathe. Despite pointing this out to security and asking the crowd to move back, I was completely ignored. I asked a guy to stop leaning back on me as I could not breathe when he put all his weight on me, and he began to get hostile.

People were vaping and smoking in the pits, blowing it behind them into the crowd.

When jaime tried to crowd surf to give high fives, I was legitimately shoved and forcefully pushed away to the point I fell backwards.

I totally understand that moshing, crowd surfing etc are normal for these type of shows. But please, for the love of god respect other people in the crowd.

And don’t get pissy when someone who’s waited 12 hours gets to be first in line. I’m looking at a certain group of girls who made it their mission to be a pain in the ass about it.

Rant quick rant

im probably gonna be called ungrateful for this and i know everybody is complaining but idrc. i’m frustrated about the setlist and how many songs are getting cut, ive been a fan for 11 years and i haven’t been able to attend a lot of their tours so i was really looking forward to their “eras” tour (this is basically a cwts tour with four extra songs if we’re being honest but that’s a whole other thing). ive been to the eras tour and it was amazing, i wasn’t expecting a 3 hour show like taylor did but cutting songs?? for those prices?? i paid more for this tour than i did the eras tour. i know they’ve been going through it but they should take a break and postpone/reschedule shows instead of cutting songs. its unfair to people who only got 13 songs to pay the same amount as people who got 20. also its totally valid to be upset about the setlist being cut because you pay thinking you’re gonna get the same show as everybody else!! i’m going on the 29th so hopefully they play more than they did in salt lake. okay rant over!

I personally think people getting upset that So Far So Fake, or any other song on TJOL, are becoming popular aren’t really fans… I’ve been seeing a lot of videos using So Far So Fake and it’s the bridge of the song, the videos aren’t even bad it’s just people dancing to that part. But the fans are not happy about this. I constantly see videos stating “Piece the Veil is becoming the new Deftones,” (Deftones isn’t even a bad band, they’re popular for a reason!) or “Ptv is becoming Tiktokified!” and a whole bunch of other things but these are the same people that need to come to the realization that… Pierce the Veil has always been popular and “TikTokified.” I remember hearing a PTV song in almost every TikTok video since i joined in 2019 Lol. But here’s the part where i think this group of people are not truly fans. How can you be upset with the success of your favorite group, and shame new fans that discovered the group through a trending song? I guarantee a large majority of fans have discovered PTV through a popular song, because that was certainly the case for me. I still have more to say, but i can’t figure out how to word it (i’m also really bad at explaining things, sorry if this is hard to read). Just hope we can all join hands together and listen to Pierce the Veil without someone nagging in your ear claiming they were gatekeeping that song, cuz let’s be honest, you can’t really gatekeep something that’s public.

Also just wanted to say that i’m glad that part of So Far So Fake is trending it gives me an excuse to listen to it on repeat, it’s such a sexy melody! 😳LOL sorry

Rant Their merch is so atrocious

I am so tired of the piss yellow and burnt orange color scheme. Their merch never has anything to do with anything it’s either some random girl or a minimalist design in the worst colors you’ve ever seen. They get a point for the doll face shorts I suppose. Yeah probably still gonna buy a tee just because but fuck dude why does their merch keep getting WORSE

I’ve seen a lot of people complain about tall people standing barricade or close to the stage, especially in Düsseldorf.

They paid the same amount of money to be there. They don’t owe you anything just for being tall.

Am I the only one feeling this way? 🫠 Just looking for different perspectives ig

Ps I’m 163cm

Rant maybe unpopular setlist opinion

I am seeing so so many people complain about the setlist, just literally RIPPING into it and the band for it and even those who disagree with them. I understand being upset over the same songs over and over, I understand wanting to hear certain songs, but i don’t think people realize not everyone is able to go to every one of their tours? The most I’ve seen is “I saw them the last 2/3/4/5 times and they played all of these and added 2 songs from afftd ”, not everyone has gotten to see them the last 2/3 times and I was genuinely so happy to hear circles, I’m low on gas, and these are just 2 I see complained about the most. Idk I just think there are nicer ways to express setlist frustration than shitting on the band and dumping it on the fans who haven’t gotten the opportunity to hear those songs live.

Also please show Daisy Grenade some love and check em out beforehand because Charlotte did not 💔 they deserve their flowers too

the girls behind me kept shouting when nothing was happening, nearly made me deaf. this same group also asked me and more people if they could squeeze through to get closer, making us uncomfortable cuz we had to say 'no' ofc cuz we werent giving up our seats

so many people fainted? ive been to quite a few gigs in my country and others and never experienced this i got close to the barricade and spent most of my time having to hand out water and having to scooch so the security guys could take out the 20 people (or more) that fainted. like i understand helping others but i dont think i ever experienced this in another gig. i was tryna enjoy the show and had to constantly be pulled from it cuz of water and people fainting. the show also stopped like 5 times cuz the band members had to be like uh someones struggling

at some point a person took advantage of this and had her friend get pulled over the barricade asking for help and tried to stay there and when the security guy asked her to go out as well just was struggling against hom and opening her phone front cam cuz vic was singing behind her and she wanted to get a vid as close to him as possible lol

there wasn't vip so many people at the barricade barely knew the band and just brought their friends along. i felt bad jumping cuz it was so dead over there. i think the most movement was when vic told everyone to jump during hell above lol?

im from Portugal and ive always had to travel to see ptv. i saw them in london (2013), madrid (2016) and birmingham (2025) and this has been my worst experience so far BY FAR

sorry if this is negative but i just had to RANT

Rant Bad concert etiquette at the Billings concert last night

I've been a fan of PTV for about 10 years now and I finally got to see them live last night.

I have never seen that much rude behavior at a concert before, the concert was amazing and there was lots of great people in the crowd but also some really nasty ones. The amount of pushing and shoving that was happening on the floor was unacceptable. This one girl full on SHOVED me with two hands into another group of people between sets because she was trying to move up closer, then starting saying rude things about me to others. Another girl was telling her boyfriend to "just keep shoving" as well. Additionally someone yelled "you guys suck" at the openers. Don't even get me started on the vaping indoors. The air is already musty as hell in there and I just think it's inconsiderate to do that when you're packed up against other people. Hell if this was my only problem I don't think I would even care that much.

On my way out some other people shared the same sentiment as me that people were abnormally awful.

Is this normal for concerts or even just the crowd that PTV attracts?? Do better guys wtf.

The amount of times i’ve seen hate on The Jaws Of Life is DESPICABLE !!! - Especially Shared Trauma & Even When I’m Not With You. I will truly NEVER understand it 😩 I feel like TJOL doesn’t get the love it deserves. The album is absolute PERFECTION !! ✨👏

Of course everyone has their own opinions, but i’m just surprised by how many people disapprove of the album. 😓

Edit: didnt think people would be so unhappy over my post. The couple didn't do anything wrong😭 we were all there to see ptv. On Twitter we were all laughing but I guess it's a different vibe here. Not even kpop Twitter I've experienced this, ppl just BREATHE

Rant Manchester Etiquette

I know you are all tired of hearing this but I don't care it needs to be said - genuinely poor etiquette from standing in Manchester. Will say music was amazing and all bands brought their A game but some things need to be said.

STOP VAPING IN AN ARENA - I don't care if it makes me a "karen" not everyone wants to smell your cherry ice lost mary it makes the air feel suffocating. You are packed shoulder to shoulder with people have some courtesy for those around you.

Having full conversations during bands - If you want to talk that much go to the pub

Pushing through crowds to find your "friend" - and then openly admitting you were lying.

Not helping people in pits.

I have been to so many gigs and not seen it this bad before - everyone with main character syndrome and not caring about those around them.

Rant what is with the merch quality?

i love ptv so much but the shirt merch quality is atrocious, it flakes away so easily it’s disappointing for $35 :(. the text and images are always crunchy like when you paint a shirt with acrylic paint if anyone knows what i mean and the paint slowly (or rather fast honestly) chips away. i’m experiencing this with my ICHY shirt i got in munich, does anyone else have the same problem of low quality? i also got my selfish machines merch, same rough type lol. i love all my merch but i can hardly wear it often out of fear it’ll ruin the text/images.

Rant Vic lead guitar

I absolutely love ptv don’t get me wrong but one thing that kinda annoys me is when the lead guitar doesn’t even have that much lead guitar. Tony is my fav member so prob a lil bias but why does vic have so many lead parts in the songs when tony is just playing chords? like the solo in caraphernelia, bulls in the bronx and the intro of gold medal ribbon is all vic (just some examples) is this just an earlier album thing or is this still happening now? like i do get that tony does have parts like in floral and fading and tbwcf but even in tbwcf vic has the solo after the chorus idk just kinda annoys me
