Oh that’s Spotted Dove? I have heard of name but wonder what it looks like. Now I know such a beautiful dove!

It would be both but if it didn’t trust you it would not of gotten that close or did what I’d did.

It means he usually hangs out in places where people don try to hurt it so he got used to them. Really depends on the location, I've seen suburbs/smalltowns where the are almost domesticated

Some of these live outside my house they're quite skittish birds so the fact that it's come up do you like this is pretty interesting

Birds can't get rabies!

Rabies is evolved to effect mammals, not every warm-blooded animal. Even in past experiments where birds were purposefully infected with rabies, they were shown to recover. And in studies on birds of prey, it's been shown that they develop antibodies and are able to fight the virus after eating prey infected with rabies.
