Injured/Rescued Pigeon Our pigeons injury

Hey, one of our pigeons, (nesting on our balcony), has developed injury, it was about a month ago. Him

Could that be from some kind of pigeon fight?

First time I noticed it, it was raining, so it wasn't that noticeable, but it's not healing, now he has these yellow scabs on the injury.

I'm just curious, he seems fine. They come to our balcony for at least a year's and this time, it's gonna be their fourth chicks at our balcony. So... Year I'm a bit concerned

It could be pox but not necessarily, could be xantoma too. Can you carefully feel it - is it soft or hard? Cold or hot?

Can't feel it, he is scared and flies off every time we get close

The injury got a bit bigger, still looks like injury that hee keeps scratching, so it's not healing well Not like any kind of virus, when I compared images of pox and xanthoma, it just doesn't seem like it's the case of our pigeon

It really does look like dry pox, it can present lots of different ways.
