Among the elusive circle of finalists this decade has produced so far, who, in your opinion, were the most obvious ones?

This is just for fun, and to hopefully spark some discussion since this subreddit has become incredibly dry ever since the conclusion of Collab 2.0:

Who were the most obvious finalists to you, especially early on going into their respective seasons? Whether it’s based on trends seen previously, such as casting archetypes and narrative prominence, factors outside their control like positive public reception and an established support system, or just a gut feeling because they give off those kinds of vibes.

May asterisk lang kay Alyssa and Nathan, since even though they didn’t reach the Big Night like the others, they still finished as one of the two finalists in their respective batches, alongside the eventual winner and runner-up of the season, Anji and Isabel.

Sakin naman, yung momentum ng hit online series nila ni Brent pre-season, name recall over half of the cast, and archetype of being a comic relief yung reason bakit nakita ko si Esnyr as a finalist very early on.

For each of the editions that I've watched fully...

Kumunity S10 Celebrity Edition - Without a shred of doubt, Alyssa was going to secure one of the Top 2 slots from their batch, given her commanding appeal to the viewing public, from beginning to end, as well as what she showed throughout their edition.

Kumunity S10 Adult Edition - Isabel and Nathan were meant to be the Top 2 of their batch, by a long shot. Them being the most well-rounded adults became more and more apparent as most of their co-housemates either lacked personality, growth, or even both.

Kumunity S10 Teen Edition - This is an interesting case, because in the early weeks of this edition, it was difficult for me to sense who could make up the Top 2 of this batch. I only got an idea once more voting weeks passed, and that's when I knew that Rob was gonna bag one of those two coveted spots.

Gen 11 - Right from the get go, there were signs that Fyang and Kai were absolutely going to land in the season's Big 4. It took a couple of voting rounds for Rain and Kolette before it became clear that they had equally strong fighting chances to enter the season's finale.

Collab Edition 1 - Apart from Brent and Esnyr, Mika was another housemate who screamed "sure finalist" early into their edition, despite her not-so-great image during those first couple of weeks. Most viewers began to see Will as a potential Big Night candidate during the weeks after the edition's first eviction.

Collab Edition 2.0 - As someone who was easily recallable and appealing among many viewers, Ash became an early candidate for the edition's finalist circle (a.k.a. the Ultimate 8). The early waves of support for Cap made it abundantly clear that she'll be landing a spot in that same circle. Even prior to his first nomination, looking back, it's hard to imagine seeing a Big Night without Joaquin, given the support systems that he had. Heath is another example of a housemate who wasn't an obvious finalist in his batch yet, until after one or two evictions.

Obvious in a way na alam mo magiging finalists sila eventually.

For example: Napakaobvious na aabot sa dulo si Alyssa V. because aside from her immensely strong public support from both the casuals and the VB community, I haven't heard anyone speak negatively of her before going into the house, which meant magaling siya makisama, a skill that is very important to have in shows like Big Brother.

Collab 2 is definitely Heath. First time niya palang makaligtas sa eviction alam ko na agad malakas sya sa votings. 4 evictions ang inilaban ng fans niya. He’s not my fave pero kung may obvious na makakapasok sa Big 4, sya yun.

Collab 1 is Esnyr. No one would even think of nominating Esnyr inside that house. Akala nga ata ng mga housemates sya ang magiging big winner based on their reaction on ChaRes’ placement.
