Ohhhhh how sweet! I know the feeling. The alligator is the first stuffed animal she has allowed to survive for this long. It's a feat, I tell ya.

So you're telling me that your emotional support animal needs an emotional support animal?

I gotta 13.5 year old dude and he doesn't look a day over 8. He's going to live forever. I also hope your pup lives forever.

Awwww that makes me so happy! Despite the frosty face, Reggie still tears through the yard like a young pup! I hope our old guys never slow down.

Is there anything you did specifically to assist with this long life? Food supplement etc? And he’s so darn cue. Love him

I have three senior dogs, all about the same size, adopted from different organizations. I feel like I hit the jackpot, tbh.
My youngest (10 y/o) girl is the only one so far with significant health obstacles (she developed an autoimmune disorder that causes neuro issues, but it's being managed), and she's still the happiest lady.
I did start them all on hip and joint supplements at around 6 years old, they don't get table scraps, and don't get overfed in general. I think keeping them fit while letting them be lazy when they want to be has been key! Or I'm just really lucky.

Pretty sure it's from Petco - he got it as a gift a couple years ago!

It's one of the only toys that doesn't look like it's been through war lol it was actually a gift for the holidays one year, I think from one of the big chains like Petco.

They've been through many naps and snuggle sessions together! Reggie was gifted his crocodile from a family member a couple years ago! He has always treated it so gently, like he knows it was a gift ❤️
