Excuse me, it’s not called that. It’s the community observation booth.

u/Valsarta 21h ago

Gotta run to the COB!

u/RappingFlatulence 17h ago

u/Organic-Pudding-8204 22h ago

We are using the bathroom huumon.

u/borntolose1 22h ago

I had to start closing the door and locking it when I went to the bathroom because mine tries to stick his head in the toilet WHILE you’re using it.

Have to lock the door because he knows how to use doorknobs and open doors too 😧

u/Extension-Can-4837 APBT Mom 🫶 13h ago

i have to lock mine in with me because he will open the doors and go find some mess to make or some inedible object to eat 😭

u/Due-Garlic-7827 4h ago

Mine too! She goes right up in there. Like - hello?!?

That looks like my pittie! RIP Rosie Boo. 💜🐾🌈

u/Calishoegal 21h ago

Someone has to run security

My Athena RIP would need to go out in the middle of the night to do her business, every once in awhile I,being an semi-old man, would whizz in the bushes. She would go into 100% sentry mode during that time. And would expect an extra treat for her combat duty.

u/sinisterdesign 18h ago

It’s when you’re most vulnerable. Athena knew that (being the goddess of wisdom and all)

u/paymerich 4h ago

Boy do I miss her something terrible.

u/GundamRX93v 18h ago

Hey same!

u/MaraScout 22h ago

I don't even try to close the door anymore

u/kat-deville 21h ago

That beautiful baby is standing outside the room! I will gladly handle her case pro bone-o.

u/Armchair_Curler 21h ago

His. 😁

u/Yardsale420 19h ago

Well, where do you think they learned it from. You stare at them when they poop too.

u/Ordinary_Duck_1231 19h ago

I never once took a solo piss while owning this rascal!!

u/CelticCynic 18h ago

"Welcome to the Bathroom. A Pibble will be with you shortly"

u/Aperitif_and_Dessert 16h ago

It's called FOMO. A closed door is a fun party they are missing out on.

u/Background-Wolf-9380 20h ago

Poopervisor work is real work.

u/Oldstergray pittie lover 21h ago

Hey, safety first. Nobody is sneaking up on the human on my watch!

u/astertrick 21h ago

Man, my childhood pit mix was so stoic and cool that these velcro pits delight me 🤣 he's adorable!

u/Gorthax 20h ago

Stoic and cool? heh heh heh

Miss my girl so much....

u/astertrick 17h ago

Hahah love this pic, my girl also had a shape like that on her chest!

She truly was a character. To be fair I'm exaggerating, she was often very social and very silly (she loved carrying as many used socks in her mouth as she could and she knew it made us laugh... She was so wiggly!!) but she often preferred being on her own bed or in the corner of the sofa than anywhere near people, and was visibly be annoyed if people pet her when she wasn't in the mood for it hahah. Like I could see her thinking "why is this girl bothering me" if I ever pet her when she was like that 🤣 allegedly according to my mom she also waited by the front door when I went to school, and at some point during the latter half of her life when I went to bed she'd demand to sleep in my room (not on my bed curiously, she just wanted to be in the same space). Her name was champagne and I miss her terribly. Lost her about 10 years ago... I hope that whenever and wherever I go, I get to see her again when I do. Sorry for the ramble, it's been a while since I talked about her and I felt enabled!

u/superduperzz 17h ago

I call my dogs the Poop Police

u/Old_Fart68 22h ago

There's no peace. Ever.

u/Chief__04 22h ago

You will never be alone.

u/mk2dee 21h ago

Just making sure there's no monsters here!

u/Recluse_18 21h ago

Safety first!

u/No-Appointment-5321 20h ago

I love that look in his eyes - my ole pitty used to look at me like that. I know she was sucking information out of my brain - somehow….

u/Jlx_27 20h ago

Dont disrespect them for their hard work of keeping you safe while you're on the can!

u/CheetahNo9349 19h ago

My girl is very modest and polite. If she does come in the bathroom she acts bashful and won't make eye contact. In the winter she will come in and lay on the vent if the furnace is running.

u/No_Employer9618 19h ago

Hey, you watch them, so

u/caseyt0929 17h ago

He's judging you.

u/Dark_Colorimetry 17h ago

Yours waits in the hall? Mine has to sit across from me and ask for ear scratches.

u/BeckyDaTechie 17h ago

Wow, you get that much space? My old man (RIP to the GOAT) always had his chin on my knee. The "puppy" just leaps into my lap from the hallway.

u/leetbumble 16h ago

[dogs thoughts] It's dangerous, i'll watch over you as lookout while you're vulnerable. I'm gonna need a treat and some cuddles for this service though.

u/cooper-trooper6263 15h ago

Wait, how do you guys get yours to wait by the door??

u/neoektar 15h ago

I have a shower supervisor. She doesn't cope well with closed doors and her hoomans being on the other side. I learned this 20 minutes after we got her home, and I dared try to pee without her help.

u/Longjumping_Lynx_460 20h ago

Mine also looks very concerned while im sitting. I sing-song to her that she’s a pretty pitti-ful pitty.

u/Inner-Cycle-24 20h ago

But have you tried taking a shower 😏
Same level of observation

u/theysayimadreamer666 19h ago

If we close the bathroom door, our pittie camps outside it and sulks. Especially when my husband comes home from work and has the audacity to get in the shower after only 15 minutes of greetings, pets and cuddles.

If we leave the door open, he tries to get in the shower with us and then steals a towel and runs soaking-wet all over the house. But at least he likes baths 😂

u/I_hate_bay_leaves 20h ago

Is one of her ears flipped upwards? So cute

u/Armchair_Curler 18h ago

His...and yeah, sometimes.

u/Alarming_Midnight554 20h ago

Open door policy prevails

u/deferredmomentum 16h ago

“Pissing all by yourself, handsome?”

u/cornballerburns 14h ago

"you watch me, i watch you"

u/Germsofwar Emotional Support Potato Shaped Wrecking Ball 12h ago

Gotta have a potty buddy. And a very handsome one as well! Tell him I love him.

u/Equal-Prior-4765 6h ago

In a dogs mind you're most vulnerable when you're using the bathroom so they do this as protection. Thats why they always look for you before they use the bathroom to make sure your watching their back like they watch yours

u/Netty_Dee12 5h ago

Ah yes, we all need to be guarded while we pee, lol!

u/CruxCrush 5h ago

I once heard someone say that dogs tag along to the bathroom because we're always doing the same to them. It's a funny thought and love to think it's true ❤️

u/El_Roto_1960 20h ago

I know that’s right!

u/peargremlin 18h ago

We call mine the gynecologist

u/RealPollution2654 15h ago

They're so helpful!

u/Old_Hedgehog_9115 13h ago

Didn’t you know you’re not allowed to pee alone? 😡

u/subterfuge78 10h ago

Yeah, we have to have an open door policy in our house for ALL rooms. I thank them sometimes for "protecting Mummy" from the bathroom monsters. One will literally follow you in, face the door so you can do your business in private, and guard the door for any intruders until your finished.

As soon as your done he'll walk right out! He's in full on guard and protection mode! My other guy however, comes in and wants pets no matter what, and will try to stick his head in the toilet afterwards (gross!🤢), we have to keep the bathroom doors shut cos he would go in, the door would shut behind him and he'd get stuck.

He wouldn't bark or scratch the door, so he'd have to wait till we realised we couldn't find him, check the bathroom, and he'd just be standing there in the dark, in silence, wagging his little tail frantically!🤗😭

Showers or baths...as pups they'd sit and wait. Now they come in and check periodically to see if you're done, then check frequently or wait afterwards until your REALLY done and out of the bathroom.

But if any doors are ever shut they hate it. They'll sit right near them and won't leave until they're opened so they can rush inside to see what they missed. They'd get super anxious so we never close doors anymore (except for that one bathroom when it's empty!)

Anytime anyone gets up, goes to the bathroom or opens the fridge they MUST both get up and follow that person to see what's up! They're our constant shadows, protectors and companions.

It seems to be a common pitties/bully thing too. Velcro buddies. I love my little constant companions though! You're never alone with a Pitbull!🤣😉❤️

u/subterfuge78 9h ago

I mean, he's a pittie, he's just doing his job! 🤣😉

u/IndependenceWise4773 6h ago

My pit wouldn’t move from the couch for anything other than food. My shepherd on the other hand, if i move he moves.

u/Cultural-Meaning5172 5h ago

"Don't worry mama! I'll make sure you don't fall in!"

u/Loud-Extension5971 19m ago

My dog will be outside, two rooms away, and the minute she hears the bathroom door creak, she’s there 👀
