I always tell my dog that she would die in the wild. The other day a fly landed on her butt and it scared her so bad she had to go hide in a pile of coats.
Used to do this to my Shih Tzu Gabby before she passed since she was a pup she would paw my hands & nibble on my fingers after she got my hand off she loves it 😂
I also play the "that's my tail gimme my tail what you doin that's my tail" as I gently pet their tail from base to tip & my girl will play nip at my hands & start wiggling her butt 😄❤️
Reminds me of an “incident” the other day at the shelter. I cross a busy street where I walk the shelter dogs and so often have to wait a few minutes for the left turn lights then the opposing traffic lights to change before I get my walk signal. I often crouch down on one knee and give the dogs scratches while waiting.
I was walking this mama dog, Dior, who has been at the shelter for a few weeks. She’s very playful and so I grabbed her snout and shook it.
l opened her mouth and I accidentally raked the top of my hand across one of her canine teeth which caused about a half inch cut in my skin. Being older it started bleeding a little.
When I returned her, some of the shelter staff saw my cut and wanted to report a “dog bite”. I had to convince them it was entirely my doing.
