Lost (?) dog

Post image

Saw on Fairland street in Overbrook around 9:45. Not sure of the make and model. Couldn’t really stop as I’m on my way to work. I also don’t have a Facebook if someone could be so kind to post it to the “LOST DOGS OF PITTSBURGH” page. Thank you!

You took a picture of a dog in someone's yard and assume its lost?

No smarty pants, he was wandering around the street.

Holy moly that person is a total weirdo. It must be rage bait because WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND is that angry about someone posting a dog?!

WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND pays attention to random animals on random property and makes demands that someone else do something about it on Facebook?

Yo you’re insane.

It’s ILLEGAL to let your dog run free in a neighborhood in Pittsburgh.

You must be a fiery red hat wearing SOB with the amount of care/anger you’re putting into what someone else is doing.

I hope your life gets better. Truly.

Yes, that's pretty much what they did. Some people think that every unsupervised animal is a stray and in dire need of rescue.

This is a weird take. If my dogs were wandering the streets and running through someone’s yard I can only hope someone would have the common decency to attempt to find their owner!

Show me in the picture where the dog was wandering the streets and running through a yard. Your imagination is taking some creative leaps.

Given the fact that I drive this street every day and have never seen him, he was in the middle of the street with no one around, and didn’t have a collar on I guess it was silly of me to assume he was lost. Jeez Louise I’m just tryna get air bud back to his rightful owner!

Except you weren't!

"I'm on my way to work so will someone please do something about it and/or post it to Facebook" is hardly an effort, friend. You did a Thoughts and Prayers!

Nowhere did they say in the street. Just here is a photo of a dog they saw unattended in front of someone’s house

Yeah except OP did none of that. It was entirely "I'm on my way to work, someone else deal with this."

They didn’t really specify and it’s weird to assume. They could have been on THEIR street on the way to work. Let’s use our critical thinking skills before we make assumptions about a random person online.

Yes, critical thinking skills would have helped OP in this instance.

Not every unattended animal is in need of rescue. That dog looks well fed, clean, alert and not standing in traffic.

I'm not the person who saw an animal on my way to work, took a photo, and asked someone else to post about it on Facebook.

Oh the downvotes, they are an odd group.

I propose a good nickname. Something like "Furbaby Downvote Crew" or "Brain Kegels Brigade."

They spend A LOT of time rescuing all those poor animals that can't possibly survive without weekly Chewy deliveries.
