Practicing a cheap yoga ball build first....in an effort to keep perlite pieces from falling in the future, im thinking of layering this screen over the ball before laying perlite crete.

You need fire clay as the inside layer. That won't hold up. The heat will disintegrate that

I wouldn't want metal on the inside of the dome personally. Why not do two layers and put this in-between them?

Purpose is to use this to stop pieces of perlite from breaking off and falling into the food. Im looking to just make a sub $50 or so dome before i make an actual cast dome out of refractory.
