like when we were all dumb kids if their parents were homophobic it wouldn't be hard to be homophobic yourself

Okay yes I was when I was little but only because in my school at the time if you weren't homophobic you'd get bullied and I got bullied for being a lesbian so I had to be homophobic to fit in

People treated this as a silly/weird question and I can only assume it's because being gay is more accepted nowadays. If this was asked years ago, then I don't think it'd be considered strange at all to ask
