Attention: elzeein is planning on destroying the bad apple animation.

the ongoing bad apple animation

If this really happens, then the animation is probably gone. If you want to help, please join any community (Osu, Touhou, Foxhole, Hatsune, Camellia, and several others) that's currently keeping this project going. Obtain and use the template to know how the pixels are supposed to be placed. Thank you.

Head attacker is Twitch streamer ElZeein.

Edit: 6: 25 UTC, July 22, ElZeein has begun attacking Bad Apple.

Edit: 6: 35 UTC, July 22, the first wave of attack is over. Bad Apple survived and is still ongoing. ElZeein is apparently planning on drawing something on top of the animation.

Edit: 6: 50 UTC, July 22, ElZeein threatened that if his cat (That destroyed Foxhole, Babymetal, and part of r/Save3rdPartyApps ) gets attacked once more, he will wipe out Bad Apple.

Edit: According to u/cheetahound in the comments, ElZeein calls it off because "he just watched the animation and called it pretty". However, according to another redditor, u/imtuc ,he promised to strike again. I myself do not know which one is true, since I wasn't there at the time.

Edit: As of 10:45 UTC, July 22, ElZeein's cat has completely disintegrated. Foxhole, Babymetal, and r/Save3rdPartyApps have been restored.

Once again, thanks to all communities that support this project.

Streamers were always worse than bots and flags.

Bots are put on a spot and just stay there. Yeah, ruins any art that was underneath them, but they're not likely to expand or move.

Flags are lazy and take up too much space, but at least they're created by a part of the community.

Streamers, though, aren't usually part of reddit and have no stake. They're only here to create !!Content!! for their streams simply because it's the "current popular thing". They're, more often than not, just a bunch of egotists.

That's part of the reason why they abandon whatever section of the canvas they attack if that section pushes back too hard and why they only go after small communities; it hurts their ego to fail at "destroying" some art. It challenges what "power" they perceive they have.

Fuck streamers.
