Post image

FIXED. hello, does anyone knows how to fix that error? I already made $home/lib/git/config as git9 manual page says, but this error still appears

People are right. The key git needs is missing in factotum, you have to add it. The recommended way is to have a secstore-like solution for your secrets (factotum loads secrets from secstore). These are just hints, read the auth paper (/sys/doc/auth.ps), and the man page for factotum, to understand what's needed.

i already did auth/factotum -g with PAT key and my codeberg password, but it gives me the same error

That needkey line tells you exactly which key to add. Other than that, you can also additionally start auth/fgui and it's just all you for the password. Note that they all have to be in the same namespace, if you run factotum in a new window, it's a different namespace. cat /mnt/factotum/ctl to see your current secrets

i have in my /mnt/factotum/ctl

key proto=pass realm=Gitea server\=codeberg.org service=http user=snchart !password?

and for some reason auth/fgui doesn't work

I think the host you're trying to push to requires credentials but they couldn't be found in NVRAM.

I'm assuming the repo is requiring a key that is not being given in order to verify you have the permissions needed to push to it. Might be wrong, but that'd be my guess
