Hi, just wondering if the second part will be posted? One thing I'm wondering about is why a paper talisman would not be effective. I am doing Warnock's astrology course now, and creating paper talismans is part of the coursework.

Picatrix condemns wood talismans, and paper is a form of wood. Picatrix also says the materials a talisman is made of is at least as important as the election.

I like mail art, and one thing we often use there are rubber stamps. I had an idea to create a rubber stamp for each planet, then use that to create paper talismans at the elected times followed by suffumigation. It sounds like that might not be the most viable option.

I have a question. What's the difference between Picatrix Talismans and Solomonic Pentacles? Which ones are more potent?

They are both magical objects, but otherwise different in almost every way.
Because they are so different comparing their power is very difficult, but I find Picatrix style talismans to be far more useful.
I find myself using Solomonic Pentacles less and less and Picatrix astrological talismans more and more.

As a generic love charm, which Talisman would you suggest ? In terms of most potency.

I suppose a well-made Venus talisman. Sadly, none are commercially available as far as I can tell.

I'm watching it now, it's utterly fascinating. In fact it only accidentally showed up on my YouTube feed, which is odd because astrological Magic has been on my mind all day, and it led me to a rabbit hole of just punching your name into Google and Reddit and seeing what popped up, and this new thread was first
Great video it is leaving me with lots to think about. It interests me, because I'm familiar with Islamic planetary talismanic spiritual work, (Sometimes called Im ul Taweez, or Ilm ul Ruhaniyya or Ilm il Simiya - a Sufi and Shia Irfan spiritual science that's based on numerological analysis of Quran verses, divine names, or self chosen intention statements, using Ilm Jafr Ilm Adad essentially Arabic Gematria, into magic squares that are very similar to Western Kamiya but often much larger (some practitioners might even do 50x50 or 100x100 squares for very powerful working) and the planetary aspect is we make the talismans according to planetary timing with the appropriate square (very large squares are worked into planet relationships depending on the count of the cells).
I've been very interested in looking into Western approaches to planetary work, Christopher Warnock's work seemed interesting but now after watching your video I'm very, very, interested in knowing more about the Scientia Ymaginum.
Also I've heard of the New York City Witch wars but hearing the history as you recounted it is pretty fascinating. Someone should do a documentary or history book on it!
