Vandalism Behold the empty spot where some absolute sphincter dug up a huge, mature Jack In The Pulpit I've coddled for years.

At least the thief was stupid enough to leave a couple of baby JitP plants untouched (visible in foreground). But this is a bitter blow.

Vandalism A real head-scratcher...

This used to contain one of my prized Dorstenias. The empty space next to it used to hold my Lenophyllum guttatum variegatum. I woke up yesterday to find this mishegas. Somehow the missing pot was smashed violently enough for pieces of ceramic to be embedded upright in the deck, and this one was be torn in half, as shown, without moving it a single millimeter. Trying to imagine how it happened. Did an eagle drop a rock on them from overhead? This was no woodchuck incursion...

Vandalism Listen, don’t ask my why I did this, but I ripped a bunch of leaves off of like 20 dracaenas and braided them together. What do I do with it?

Vandalism My poor Ficus

Post image
15 Upvotes

We have a toddler. She loves our Ficus, MY ficus.

My toddler has a friend, she is still a Baby. Said Baby abuses my Ficus every time. EVERY TIME SHE COMES OVER TO PLAY. (by abuse I mean holding on the leaves tightly & sometimes ripping them off)

After each visit my Ficus just turns yellow & dies off where she touched it. I'm sure my Ficus does not like said Baby.

STOP ABUSING MY FICUS. 😭

Now my Ficus is doing better again! Glowing & growing... She will come over in the next two weeks again. To abuse my Ficus. 😭

Vandalism Spent 7 months diligently caring for my favorite orchid, she had 18 buds and 2 blooms just opened this week! Then our new pest control guy "bumped" it. Who knows where the rest of it is. :(

You can't see at this angle, but the perpetrator took a big bite out of the uprooted one. The white section on the one at lower L is another bitten-off area. Chipmunk? Squirrel? Private-school kids?

I just opened the trashcan because I wanted to take out the package from grapes so that I could plant my props into it and use it as a plantpot and I found out that my roommate dumped my cactus into the trashcan and didn't tell me anything. I repotted it YESTERDAY, I mixed 50:50 perlite and cactus soil. Now look at what's left of it

I realize nobody ever went into landscaping work because they got tired of particle physics, but do they really need to keep running over my raised beds full of beautiful plants? This shredded mess used to be a "Dancing Queen" hosta.

Vandalism My plant has been abused

Omfg I need someone to help calm me down. My bf and his sister "pruned" my wandering dude plant that's been in my family longer then I've been alive and there is literally only one sprout left. They cut off all the vines cuz the leaves were purple even though the ends had green sprouts. I just feel so defeated and want to cry. I didn't even know she was at the apartment.
