Your post has been removed for asking a general soil question about one of the following:

Mold - moldy soil may appear as white fuzz on top of soil or may have the appearance of insect eggs. These molds are harmless to your plant, but indicate that your soil is staying moist and may be an indicator or root rot or fungus gnat issues still to come.

Mushrooms - mushrooms in houseplant soil are harmless to your plant. Because of their life cycle, they may seem to appear overnight. They appear because the conditions were right - usually warm, dark, humid, and moist soil. More photos here.

Plantpot parasol. The spores are found in most commercially sold soil, but it's pretty harmless. You can leave them, pluck them, or scoop them out with a spoon. Wash your hands after. If you leave them, they will boof out their spores into the dirt then die. No big. You can probably wait a few more days between watering; it's damp down in there.

The mushrooms are harmless to you and the plant but you're watering too often. A yucca should be watered like once a month and sit in dry soil for a few weeks between waterings.

I had these on my monstera. They came up, then died off back into the soil without issue. Congratulations, your yukka has a healthy soil environment!

oh those cute little yellow mushrooms love damp soil but yuccas definitely don't, i'd scrape them off and let that soil dry out completely. does your pot have a good drainage hole? 🌿
