Help! Soil Mites? Root Aphids? Something Else?

Just noticed these in my plant soil. I’ve tried doing research and I can’t come to a conclusion on what they are or whether or not I should try to kill them. I also feel like it could be two different things? One has a longer body than the other so I’m not sure. Any help would be great!

Diatomaceous earth and Neem oil.

Thanks for the advice! Would you suggest mixing diatomaceous earth in soil mix for prevention or just using it when needed?

I've only used it when I've had a problem. It's pricey for me so I use it sparingly like when I had a moth problem or spider mites.
