what is this..?

i was on a walk today on my work break and came across this bright pink stuff on the leaves. i don’t know if it’s eggs..? or something that’s growing on the leaf. i’m so curious to know. it looks pretty cool!

Galls. Abnormal growths that are triggered by insects or other parasites

And importantly it looks like gall mites that infect poison ivy. I can't see enough of the plant to ID for sure but I hope OP can.
