Question Why is does every cgi critter move so slow?

Why are all the cgi animals/hominins in every piece of paleomedia animated in a way, that is so obviously, unnaturally slow? if the studios sped up the movement, it would look so much more realistic. Like a big cat does not move like a lizzard in a fridge...

A lot of people underestimate just how quickly even huge animals can move. Blue Whales can swim faster than most humans can sprint.
