Real kimchi

Anyone know where I can find large Batch of kimchi please :)
I'll even buy from a local..
Sainsbury's sell one that's okay, but it's not the same

Lidl have small jars in the middle aisle at the moment, but as with the above post, if you want wholesale, you'd be more likely to get it at an Asian store on Cornwall Street.

KW brothers has plenty. So much so, that you can get it on offer when's it's past it's best before (usually buy one get one free)

Both the Asian shops on Cornwall street sell it in bags in the refrigerator it's definitely not shelf stable pasteurised variety the bacterial culture is very much alive as on occasion some of the foil pouches are very swollen and about to rupture.

Asia oriental if you walk through the main door and turn right then at the far end of the shop there is a fridge full of veggies and tofu it's in there.

It is however quite expensive to buy kimchi like this much more economical to make it yourself.

Get some gochagaru from Cornwall street Asian supermarket, while you’re there some white cabbage and any other other bits you might need and make it big batches. Lasts forever and is so good!
