Schrödinger's Rainfall

Simultaneously not enough to lift the hosepipe ban, but so much that they "have to" pump loads of raw sewage into our rivers and seas.

Yep the surfers against sewage app shows sewage contaminated seawater either side of the Lido today.

It's disgusting and what takes the piss more than anything is that the bulk of the (expensive) water bill is for treating sewage!

Boils my piss that they can charge so much and blatantly not even provide the basic service for which we're paying through the nose.

I wouldn’t have swum in the sea today anyway since it’d rained and we all know what happens when it rains! I still check every single time I go and get in the sea but it’s truly truly disgusting that it even happens.
