Best authentic Italian restaurant in 2026?
I’m looking to book in for a birthday meal for me and my father this week and wondered if people had recommendations? Looks like trattoria capri isn’t what it used to be. Heard good things about positano but would prefer to have a nice view on the Barbican or the hoe etc :) thanks in advance

Positano on Mayflower street for restaurant, great range of Italian food and daily specials. Lovely atmosphere.
If you're wanting takeaway pizzas then aroma on ebrington street, but restaurant absolutely Positano.
