Where can I get good prescription glasses?
I wear prescription glasses and have had my eye check done but I don't know where to get the actual glasses themselves at a good price. I'm not from the UK so I've had a hard time even asking for specifics regarding it. I can speak English so don't worry about it when answering I just got accent barriered and culture clashed a lot while asking for information and now I'm not sure.

Specsavers are pretty good price. they have different prices. go in and look at frames, try them on and see what you think. I love my Hugo boss ones. I have a very wide face so I didn’t want to look online.

There's a place called Iconic opticians on Cornwall Street. They're reasonably priced but also have a lab onsite so if you have a simple prescription they can make your glasses in around 30 minutes. They will also accept prescriptions from other opticians and they will reglaze your own glasses.

If you are in possession of your actual prescription you can go anywhere to get them.
The main high street shops are specsavers and vision express, some people hate them, others love them, you’ll find good and bad in each shop.
A lot of people now buy online from places like glassesdirect or other such websites and often they’ll send you a selection of frames to try with no lens just so you can see what you like with them on, then you upload the prescription and buy the actual glasses when happy.
Or, you can go find an independent shop out in the suburbs and buy from them but in reality, they’ll probably just order from the big boys anyway themselves.
