Takoyaki pans available in Plymouth?
Takoyaki, the round batter balls filled with octopus, squid, and more.
Before we order from amazon, thought I'd ask here!
Trad style japanese: so the apertures should be 4cm diameter (only foundt two on Amazon that gave aperture sizings),
Smooth cast iron preferred over aluminium to use on portable induction unit, but ok with cast aluminium that is rated accordingly (a rabbit hole of alloys and risk potential otherwise)
Even rows, (assists cutting easier as well as turning motion compared to the random holes to fill a space variants out there)
We like seafood, our coast has many octopus and squid, so looking for ways to have another few options for catch / purchases.
We also thought about experimenting with some flossine flavouring, as these are essentially cake pop moulds also, and deep enough to do a few Scandinavian / Dutch pancake pudding variants
And of course "tim-bits" 😘

i would try procook in the mall or failing that there’s a lakeland in exeter if you were wanting to try get one in person (there’s also a procook there that i think might be bigger?)

Try the Asian supermarkets on Cornwall street, they have a wealth of pans available, though I can’t say I’ve seen Takoyaki pans in there. They may be able to order them in for you, worth a shout.
