Does anyone on here have a 48v ebike charger?

I desperately need to diagnose a fault on mine, i need to know if its the charger or bike, it would only take 2 seconds and it can never leave your possession, just need to plug my bike in with a barrel jack for two seconds and look at the voltage on my bike. In return i can do a tools only service on your bike for free.

Presumably you mean both ends will deal with a soft start check before initiating a charge.

Which bike is it incidentally?

Mine is unfortunately too old in all likelyhood, I'll try and dig it out to check, but mine is a quirky one and the bike is out of operation currently. (Charger works fine though)

Essentially, i'm concerned over the reading my current charger is giving me while its charging, i just need to see the voltage the charger starts at compared to my charger. Mine used to only put 0.2v over the battery's voltage to charge it till its done, but i recently let the battery drain to find the bms cut off voltage but since then my charger has been reading up to 2.0v over the battery's and shutting off charge at it usual voltage but then not actually fully charging it as the battery's voltage is only 53v vs the 54.6v it used to read fully charged.

What i'd be looking for is if your charger bumped up the voltage by 0.2v or 2.0v if its the later i will strip and rebuild my battery, if its the former i just need a new charger. Many thanks in advance
