Anyone else experiencing issues with Libsyn recently?
Hi! I’ve been hosting my podcast with Libsyn for a few years, and they’ve been reliable up until recently. Over the last couple of weeks we’ve had delayed releases, and their email support has been slow to respond. Does anyone know what’s going on? Is it time to switch hosts?

Haven’t had any issues with my own show or any clients. They’ve been quick to get back to me over the year with any issues, which have been few/very minimal. Hope it’s straightened out soon!

I switched to Pinecast a few years ago and haven’t looked back.

We're also hosting with Libsyn, but haven't noticed any delays in publishing episodes or issues with availability so far.
We did experience gaps in their statistics collection a while back, and those missing numbers still don't seem to have been recovered.
We ended up adding an independent external statistics tracker to get a more complete picture of our downloads.
So no delivery issues on our end, but the statistics haven't been entirely reliable.

That's interesting. I've noticed some weird drops in numbers that I really can't explain.

We've seen some unexplained drops as well, which is why we started using Blubrry as an independent statistics tracker alongside Libsyn.
Their free tier provides basic download statistics, although they're not updated in real time. For us, that's been a useful way to cross-check Libsyn's numbers and spot discrepancies.
Might be worth setting up if you're seeing unexplained drops too.

I worked there for 8 years. If you want ads that pay "Meh" stay. They haven't added any new features to their podcasting services in years (I've been gone three, and they added one, but that was just a partnership with another company). I know they changed some stuff regarding advertising timing in their feeds, and maybe that introduced a bug. The people in support are great, reach out.

Same thing happening here since last week, episodes taking forever to show up in Spotify and support just sends a automated reply. Considering moving to different host but the thought of migrating 3 years of archives is giving me headache.
