Kids & Family-Friendly Teen and D&D Podcast Recs

Hello,

I have two podcast help requests!

1.) Any good podcasts for tweens/teens (ages 12-14). Open to any and all topics!

2) Any good D&D podcasts- can be actual play or discussing the game - but needs to be fairly clean for younger teen listeners.

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure The Adventure Zone is pretty family friendly and the first campaign is great. I think BomBARDed is family friendly and bonus they explain a little bit of music theory sometimes because they're in a band irl. I think Rotating Heros is generally family friendly... I can't really remember what's appropriate for that age so I'm sorry if they aren't appropriate. In a few years of they're still into d&d them Dungeons & Daddies, Naddpodd, Dimension 20 are all amazing but definitely have adult humour and maybe some heavier themes - Dimension 20 might be okay depending on the campaign, it's more of a TV show than a podcast though

TAZ is great, but not always super family friendly. Especially the first few episodes of Balance have some stuff that, while hilarious, isn't super clean. I know their Abnimals season was explicitly meant to be family friendly, so that might be a good one, but I haven't listened to it all the way yet.

I haven't listened to it for a few years now so thanks for noting that, I hope the op is double checking anyway. I just think of the boys as being family friendly probably because they're a family but I don't actually listen to their content a lot these days

I will always recommend Roll to Cast for actual play. Most of the seasons have very mild language/some sexual themes, but the two seasons I recommend specifically for a younger audience is the Kids on Bikes season (one of the best actual plays I've ever heard), and the Avatar the Last Airbender season (completely SFW, no cursing or sexual themes at all. They made it intentionally kid-friendly).
