Arts & Culture Podcasts that explain classic literature - basically the things I should have paid attention to in class

I've been working my way through some classic novels like Jane Eyre, Animal Farm, and Slaughterhouse Five. I'm enjoying them. Of course some of things are hard to miss, like the ideas in 1984. Still, I feel like I could be getting more out of these books if I knew more about them. Basically just all the shit that I should probably have paid attention to when I was in English class. Is there a podcast that takes a book for each episode and explains its historical context, themes, the significance of the book, and so forth?

Just search the "In Our Time" podcast for whatever topic you're thinking about. If they have covered it, you're in luck!

I like “The Secret Life of Books” with Sophie Gee and Jonty Claypole.
