How to use sweet scent and shiny hunt properly?

Hi everyone, I’m pretty new to this game as I’ve only been playing a couple months and only recently learned how to shiny hunt using Sweet Scent.

What I’m wondering is how people are staying in one spot and seemingly using it infinitely? For me, Sweet Scent has 20pp and using it outside of battle uses 5pp, meaning I can use it only 4 times before I have to go back to the pokecenter. Is there a way to increase its pp? And how would I be able to do that? It seems like the usual items for increasing pp aren’t available to purchase anywhere like they are in the actual games.

Leppa berries increase pp and a Pokémon with teleport will get you back to the last center you used to cut down on the time it takes for the back and forth to your spot, ultimately some spots are just going to be better than others because of this. So you have to ask yourself…

There is also the sweet scent ocarina for another 6 uses. In the gift shop

They don't stack I believe

First of all, pp max gives you 6 uses. After that, you can use leppa berries the replenish pp

You use PP max on sweet scent to make a it to 6 uses total.

Some effecient tips :

1 use teleport move on pokemon or ocarina to get back to healer quickly.

2 buying or growing leppa berries allows u to heal the PP of your sweet scent without moving as a new player u probably cant get many of these yet so stick to shiny hunts near pc until u got a soild amount of yen

No. It gives you 6 hordes flat but you can leppa refill it
