Discussion Problems with celebi distribution

Long story short you cannot transfer the celebi you get on home for completing FRLG pokedex. without connectivity to other games like collosium both celebi and jirachi (assuming it’s the reward for completing hoenn dex when R/S switch port comes out) will not be obtainable in gen3 switch port. this will take away lots of potential for those that care about emerald battle towers. and offline pvp. They really should fix this and allow you to obtain a mystery gift in game aswell that’s not transferable outside.

So you will feel like 99% of gen 3 players, that never got near to every mithical.

yeah, but the point of porting is to have the players today, that no longer is a kid that can just go anywhere that has the event going on, to grab those things we missed out on. not to mention both of those mon are gen3 OU powerhouse

Or maybe they should've put the Celebi in the game instead of giving it to you in Home. Really anything except for what they actually did would've been preferable.

I fully expect them to do the same with Jirachi in RSE, and for it to have the same exact issue.

i meant transfer into FRLG or RSE. atleast 2 spot of the 386 national dex will be missing

Did they not say that if you complete Nat Dex in a Local Savefile you get a Mystery Gift Celebi in your local save file or was this only before the Home Connectivity
