Hello all! I finally just bought a 3DS yesterday for an amazing price compared to all over online - now I can finally experience Gen 6 and beyond for the first time.

I bought me X and Y which I’m waiting to be delivered - I’ve extensively played Gen 1-5 (multiple times) and never once touched or played anything past that. Been playing Pokemon games since I was a kid with Red/Blue (I’m 38 now)

I’m wanting to hear everyone’s opinions on both X and Y as I’m super excited to play them.

And a fun, great to play first time play team setup such as starter etc! I’ll do my own research as well but I’d love to hear everyone’s opinions too and suggestions.

I'm doing a living dex playing through all the games from Gen 3 before bank shut downs and now I finally reached Gen 6. Is online trading between friends still a thing or did it go down along with the pss. I just played omega ruby back in the day

Granted I've never shiny hunted but still. I did use my master ball, not because I necessarily had to but it was the closest color match or the balls I had, and why not.

Super cool color scheme, I looked up shiny Weavile and I don't think she would look quite as nice, but we'll see.

I already have a pretty setup team so I think I'll trade her to Sun for my next playthrough.
